Leed Architecture

The leed architecture project was the second one of the year and was not terribly successful for me.  For the first picture of the grass I wanted to get the detail of the grass, but since it wasn't that interesting of a picture I added the leaf. I don't think that picture turned out very well.  My second picture was my favorite and most successful of the project because the viewer could see the depth in the photo while enjoying the close depth of field from the detail of the reed.  I also liked in the second picture how the background was almost completely out of focus, but you could still see that there were reeds in the background as well as the foreground.  The third picture was my second favorite of the project because it embraced the idea of the garden, which is important to Branson.  I liked how I composed the picture with the shovels and pile of dirt as well as seeing the garden and grass in the background.  My fourth picture was the least successful or least interesting one of the project because the angle I shot the photo at was not terribly interesting or unique.  Lastly, the photograph of the Commons was OK, but the fan was almost completely centered in the picture and the architecture was interesting but overall not that great of a picture.  This series for me was not that successful, but I learned more about taking pictures involving architecture and this assignment was a great learning experience.
